Hi there – my name is Maya and I would like to tell you a story...
...a story about an ancient Cree Indian legend that says, "...when the earth is sick...and the animals disappear, warriors of the rainbow will come to protect the wildlife and heal the earth."
This prophecy also says that little children will come from all over the Earth who will love the animals and they will bring back the animals.
These children will love the trees and they will bring back the great grandfather trees. And most importantly, these children will know how to love other people and they will help people to live in peace with each other.
These children especially love the rainbow and they will bring back the beautiful rainbow in the sky. And for these reasons, these children will be called warriors of the rainbow.
